We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. - Psalm 78:4

Application Form

Apply to be on our staff.

At Northland Bible Camp, all the staff are volunteers with a love for and a desire to serve their Lord. The staff is usually 14 years old or older depending on the camp session. Staff positions include Lifeguards, Counsellors, Kitchen Staff, Maintenance, Nurses and Program directors.

Because of the day in which we are living, Northland takes Child Abuse very seriously and as a result, each staff member must fill out an application form as well as provide a valid police check (click here for a letter to provide to the police) and three letters of reference before working at Northland.

If you love the Lord and have a desire to serve Him through camp ministry, please fill out an application and send it in.

By submitting your application you certify that the provided information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and you certify that you have read and understood the Important Information section below. You also grant permission to Northland Bible Camp to check references and to do a background check.

Important Information

  1. As a result of the increased risk and liability associated with working with children, you will have to get the attached forms filled out and signed: The ‘Spiritual Evaluation’ (2) by an elder and/or pastor from your local church and the ‘Personal Evaluation’ by a teacher at your school, sports coach or supervisor. Give them a stamped envelope, addressed to Sean Lee at the address below, and ask them to mail it.
  2. You will also need a Police Background Check. To get this you will need to go to the OPP or your local municipal police service and tell them it is for a volunteer position at a not-for-profit children’s camp. There may be a charge for this. You may take this letter with you to the police station.
  3. Also due to the increased risk and liability associated with working with children, you may be contacted by a representative of Northland Bible Camp for a short over the phone interview.
  4. At Northland, we believe that the protection and well being of all those present at camp as well as a positive testimony to those inside and outside of the camp environment are of great importance. As a result we have a No Smoking Policy and a Dress Code in effect. Clothing such as bikinis, short shorts/skirts, strapless or spaghetti-tops, visible boxers/underwear as well as articles of clothing depicting derogatory or vulgar language and/or symbols are not to be worn. Other items may come up and they will be addressed on an individual basis. Although you may not agree with this, we ask that during your time at camp the Dress Code is followed.
